Do you have a question about this home or the local area?

Copenhagen’s wide boulevards have that understated yet sophisticated Scandinavian vibe. With cosy bars, fine restaurants, and independent boutiques lining these elegant streets, you can blend in with the locals as you enjoy the Danish lifestyle. The leafy, residential area of Østerbro is especially true of this. But just an eighteen-minute stroll from The Little Mermaid, you might also want to let your inner tourist out too. Set on the fifth floor of an old building, this apartment is certainly a home with a view. Wake up early and look out to the spires of the city, as well as a huge willow tree and elegant rooftops. We recommend nibbling on a Danish pastry while doing so. Another option would be to serve up a wholesome brunch on the dining table, where white walls allow the carefully chosen modern art print to take centre stage. While the flat is every bit the Scandi minimalist style you’d expect, with mid-century armchairs and blown glass vases, we found its quirkier side in the kitchen. A monochrome, chessboard floor brings an element of kitsch – and it’s also the perfect spot to prepare yourself an open-faced sandwich on the counter before heading out to explore.
