Is it a cottage or is it a mansion? This charming home has all the cosiness of a cottage, but the space and feel of a modern country manor. First, let’s start with the outdoor space. The grounds are home to a shimmering swimming pool for hot summer days, hidden swings beneath oak trees, planters filled with fresh veg and a changing room courtesy of a private shepherd’s hut. There’s a second sitting room with a suspended egg chair and a huge sofa big enough for movie nights, which we think would work perfectly as a teenage hang-out. Kids will love the dedicated playroom with dollhouses and craft tables set up. After a day of exploring the landscape around you (the garden backs onto fields), take a soak in one of the roll-top baths. You’re on the edge of Chichester Harbour AONB so...

About Chichester

Sitting pretty between the rolling South Downs and the English Channel lies Chichester, the jewel of the south coast’s crown. Start your trip by wandering the city centre’s well-preserved Georgian streets, which join together in a cross by the elegant cathedral, best-known for its stunning 12th-century carvel panels.
