There’s plenty of space on the terrace so you can enjoy it whether you’re reading a book in the shade or soaking up every second of sunshine. As the sun starts to dip in the sky, you might want to fire up the barbecue. There’s an outdoor bar, so feasting on the terrace is an easy affair – and the sunset view makes it extra special. Platja de Tamarit is a seven-minute drive away, with its clear water and lovely sandy shores. Take a picnic to make a day or it, or pop into a beach taverna for lunch. Another drive worth taking is the sixteen-minute journey to Tarragona. This beautiful city is home to several Roman ruins, including an amphitheatre. There’s also an attractive cathedral, and plenty of bars and restaurants to call into. After a day out, make your way back to the villa for an evening swim – bliss.
