Stylish yet supremely comfortable, this unstuffy apartment in the heart of Barcelona is an ideal base for business travellers and tourists alike. We loved how the plaster-effect walls add a touch of timeworn charm to an otherwise modern space. You’ll begin your mornings in the open-plan living area, curled up with a milky coffee on the soft sofa before setting the dining table ready for a breakfast of fresh local produce picked up from the nearby Sant Antoni Market. When you’re ready to tick off the city’s cultural hot spots, you’ll find Gaudí's Casa Mila and Casa Batlló within a twenty-five-minute walk from your doorstep. The Gothic Quarter is reached in fifteen minutes by metro and it’s less than a twenty-minute stroll to the shops and cafes of La Rambla. In the evening, head to the harbour area in La Barceloneta for seafood paella and a knockout sunset.
