This delightful Porthcawl home overlooks the countryside with hillside views from the front, providing vistas of fields in which you might spot donkeys grazing. A perfect base from which to discover the local area, why not explore Porthcawl's numerous beaches – two of which are Blue Flag awarded – which are reachable in just twenty minutes on foot or five minutes driving. This area offers excellent surfing, a long promenade and coastal pathways that are perfect for walkers and cyclists. What’s more, Rest Bay which is a six-minute drive away, offers a state-of-the-art water sports centre for surfing and paddleboarding adventures. Within a fifty-one-minute drive, you can also reach the Gower Peninsular - an area of outstanding natural beauty with cliffs, woodlands, and fantastic beaches, that are perfect for walkers, birdwatchers, sunbathers and surfers alike. Or, if city exploring is more your style, then why not visit Cardiff’s castle and arcades – reachable in thirty-six minutes by car. After a busy day, we would love to spend a leisurely afternoon enjoying a cup of tea and Welsh cakes – from the welcome basket – alfresco at the garden’s outdoor dining area. If the rain stops you from staying outside, however, you can always curl up on the sofa with a good book or simply watch the raindrops through the bay window.
