The serenity of the Cotswolds Water Park is just moments away with a stay at this charming barn conversion, nestled in the picturesque Cotswolds hamlet of Cerney Wick on the grounds of an elegant manor house. Spend days exploring the acres and acres of lakes teeming with wildlife – there's footpaths for hiking and biking around the waters just minutes from your door. When thoughts turn to food, the local inn should do very nicely for upper-crust grub and a swift pint (just a four-minute stroll away). Or head back home to cook up a feast of your own – cooking is a joy in the made-for-action kitchen with an island and bar stools inviting you to linger over dinner and a glass of something crisp. The perfect retreat for couples, solo travellers, and furry friends, sink into the sumptuous sofas in the winter months and get your glow on beside the wood-burner fire. And in warmer spells, potter outside into the gorgeous south-facing seating area to watch village life go by with sundowners – you can even try your hand at a spot of croquet on the lawn. We don't know about you, but it sounds like heaven to us.
