Sitting pretty in the central neighbourhood of Faubourg Lafayette, this stylish home is a superb base from which to explore the riches of New Orleans. Try as we may but we can't start with anything but the private swimming pool with a fountain feature and an inviting set of loungers running along one side. You don't need us to tell you how welcome this particular feature will be during the height of the Southern summer. There's plenty to please inside the home, too. Large grid windows are nothing but generous when it comes to natural light and this dances off the wooden floorboards that run throughout the home. The design is fairly simple but executed effectively so, while the monstrously sized kitchen full of stainless steel appliances will help you feed the troops without any hitches. With a great position in the city, you're not far from some great attractions. The Ogden Museum of Southern Art, Contemporary Arts Center and The National WWII Museum all sit within ten minutes' walk of the front door, while the famous Bourbon Street takes double that time.
