We're into this elegant apartment's chic, minimalist styling, housed in a Renaissance building of handsome proportions. But we love its location even more. Perched in Fiesole, a quieter residential neighbourhood of Florence, yet just a twenty-minute stroll from the city's must-sees, this home offers the best of both worlds. Take a turn around the city's botanical gardens (a two-minute walk away) – it's your peaceful retreat in a city where green space is scarce. Grab a sfogliatina and caffè to go for a mooch about Piazza della Libertà (five minutes on foot). Then make a beeline for the must-see Duomo, just a twenty-two-minute walk away – or a smidge longer with pitstops at the labyrinth of cafes and shops along the way. And after days of gallivanting about the city, this apartment is a joy to come home to. Guests rave about how pristine the interiors feel, and we couldn't agree more. Natural light floods through the dual aspect windows, bouncing off the parquet flooring in the sociable living space. While over in the luxurious bedrooms, there's a boutique hotel feel with the crispest white linens and blackout blinds ready to be drawn when it's time to bank some beauty sleep.
