It feels as though this villa has been designed to make those most of that stunning view, stretching out over the rolling Tuscan countryside. Terracotta-tiled terraces furnished with wicker sofas look out over the landscape and are particularly perfect at sunset. The villa’s ‘fun house’ can keep families or groups of friends entertained throughout the day, with a covered hot tub, changing rooms and a pizza oven to try your hand at local cuisine. There’s no missing the view inside, where huge, arched windows (glazed by the same company that did the Pyramids de Louvre) look out over the misty Tuscan hills. Dinner by candlelight at the formal dining table is an affair to remember as the sun sets before you. Perhaps put the professional kitchen through its paces by hiring a private chef for the evening. There’s plenty of old-world charm to this villa too, with wooden ceilings, tiled floors and original fireplaces throughout. Antique beds in the bedrooms hark back to a bygone era and there’s something magical about waking up to that view every morning. For the perfect day trip, it’s a half hour drive to Pisa to see the iconic leaning tower and sample some of the... local restaurants.

About Pisa
Perhaps best known for a certain askew tower, there’s plenty more to Pisa than architecture gone awry. Thanks to the prime position on the River Arno close to the Ligurian Sea, there’s a long history of maritime activity in the region and the city became a major economic player between the eleventh and thirteenth centuries.
