Fringed by fig and almond trees, clear blue skies and rolling Mallorcan countryside, this finca is a rural delight. The design blends rustic charm with contemporary style to create a breezy, social space that's the definition of inviting – we love how the sliding glass doors and panoramic windows show off the views of the mountains. Set on a farm estate, so you'll wake up each morning to the sound of roosters crowing and the sunlight streaming through the windows. After a cup of coffee on the private balcony, while away the afternoon in the sun-drenched garden – you can take a dip in the pool, enjoy a picnic on the grassy patch or sprawl out on the lounge chairs with a cocktail and work on your tan. Evenings call for barbecues and alfresco dinners underneath the starry sky – later on, unwind with a soak underneath the rainfall showers before climbing into the comfortable beds. When you're ready to explore, hop in the car and drive ten minutes to Sineu, where you'll find historic yellow stone buildings, independent cafes and a weekly market on Wednesday that's one of the best in the area. The beach is a bit further –... both vibrant Palma and lively Port d'Alcúdia are about forty minutes away by car.

Home truths
A cot and high chair can be provided on request
The third bedroom has a pull-out bed, so it can sleep two guests – we think it's a better fit for children
There are ground floor bedrooms and bathrooms here for those with limited mobility
A car is a necessity, as the nearest village isn't within walking distance and public transportation is scarce – there's private parking on-site
Roosters will most likely wake you in the mornings – if you're not an early riser, we suggest packing earplugs
The kitchen may lack some basic cooking equipment like a colander and chopping board – it's probably best suited to rusting up lighter meals
If needed, the dining table can double as a laptop-friendly workspace
