Set on one of Bristol's historic squares, this stylish apartment forms part of an imposing Georgian building – Grade l listed, no less. Overlooking the gated communal Portland Square Gardens, it's a perfectly modern combination of period features (hello high ceilings and sash windows) and contemporary comforts. There's a sociable open-plan living space in cool tones of grey and white, with twin windows to the front and a comfy L-shaped sofa – perfect for putting your feet up after a day exploring. A well kitted-out kitchen means cooking at home won't be a problem but it's just a stroll to several great eateries, including a nearby bakery and a Mexican. Meanwhile, Cabot Cross and Bristol's artistic quarter, Stokes Croft, are a short walk away, along with Castle Park and the harbour.
