Outside, a gorgeous terrace boasts a dining table as well as comfy seating. If you’re anything like us, you’ll be spending most of your time here, sipping chilled wine and reading a good book. The sun terrace also vies for attention though, and will likely draw in the sun-worshippers in your group. This delightful home is well placed for exploration of the rest of Puglia, whether you want to stick to the coast and discover quiet beaches, or check out the area’s cities. The beach at Marina di Lizzano is eight minutes away by car, and Spiaggia delle Villette is five minutes away. A trip to Grottaglie is a lovely way to spend an afternoon. Stroll through the piazzas and narrow streets shopping for the ceramics that the town is known for, and check out the churches – Chiesa Madre dates back to 1370. You’ll be glad to return to the tranquillity of the garden. Cook dinner on the barbecue and dine under the stars – it’s the perfect way to end the day.
