Found in an elegant building in the Stonehouse neighbourhood of Plymouth, this recently refurbished apartment is a wonderfully homely place to stay in the coastal city. Although a couple of period features have been retained — including the handsome brick stone arches — the interior is otherwise contemporary in style, as seen with the soothing colour palette of neutrals and the sleekly tiled bathroom complete with an inviting tub. When the weather's on your side, you'll be able to take full advantage of the private garden with seating. Otherwise, there are plenty of attractions that lie nearby. The Grade-I listed Royal William Yard can be reached in just over ten minutes' walk and is today home to a great range of restaurants. Another unique day out is the National Marine Aquarium, which is half an hour away on foot.
