If you're looking for an idyllic family getaway, you might have just found it with this beautiful home. In true Danish style, this 1894 home dons a deep burnt orange tiled roof and custardy yellow walls. Despite its grand size, these traditional colours makes it feel like a quaint farmhouse. But step inside, and you'll see how the 2020 renovation transformed this 19th-century house. The interior is cloaked in soft, neutral colours, with contemporary furnishings and mod-cons galore. The mix of the contemporary with the traditional really stands out to us, and we haven't even begun on the beautiful gardens. With a sandpit, a swingset, a hot tub, a tampoline, and plenty of places to sit and enjoy a drink, there's so much for the kids and the grownups to enjoy. Not to mention the games room and the sauna inside. You'll love spending your days relaxing around the beautiful house, taking walks to the nearby coast, which is reachable in under five minutes. If you do want to explore, the island of Mors Mors is teeming with dramatic, wild beauty of hills, mountains, and a rugged coast. The largest settlement is the cosy market town of Nykøbing Mors, a fifteen-minute drive away – there, you can visit museums, coffee shops, and enjoy a seafood spread along the pier.
