The cottage can be found on Falster, an island of white sand beaches and thick forests – there’s great cycling because it’s nice and flat. Whether you’ve spent your days on rented bikes, horseback riding in the forest, or at Sildestrup Strand – a lovely white sand beach a four-minute drive away – you’ll find plenty to enjoy about this home. The interior is cosy and clean, with a simple colour palette of black, white and natural wood. It’s a calm and tranquil home, which makes it all the more appealing after a day of activities. In addition to a games area with table tennis, table football and darts, there’s also fabulous outside space. Maybe you’ll cook on the grill outside and dine alfresco – there’s a picnic table as well as a covered dining area. If you’re anything like us, you’ll make a beeline for the outdoor hot tub. Soak in the soothing water as the sun sets, then watch the stars emerge in the night sky. It’s the perfect way to round off your day.
