Fifty-three minutes outside Copenhagen and twenty from Køge, this contemporary home is perfectly positioned for exploring Denmark's Zealand Island. Here, the landscape varies from dense woodlands and grassy hills to sandy coastlines – no matter where you are, idyllic scenery is sure to follow. Restaurants, cafes and shops are all nearby, and you won't have to travel far to reach the beach – it's an easy four-minute stroll to Beach Kystvejen. The sea is so close, in fact, you can see it from your private terrace and small courtyard garden, where glittering waters and bright blue skies paint the ideal backdrop for your stay. We can already picture ourselves out here, enjoying a cup of coffee as the sun comes up and sipping a glass of wine come sundown. Inside, the view is on full display from the floor-to-ceiling windows, and the lofty A-frame ceilings only add to the home's breezy atmosphere. When you're feeling peckish, rustle up frikadeller in the sleek kitchen, then end the evening snuggled up in front of the crackling log burner. The design is contemporary yet cosy – Danish hygge to a T.
