The island of Fyn’s central location means you can reach Jutland and Sealand with ease. But with the city of Odense just a twenty-five-minute drive from this home, the coastal town of Hasmark and this charming house might be enough to make you stay put. A peaceful atmosphere, pristine beaches, and local historical intrigue are among some of the delights. As you arrive at this fantastic residence, you can see the stylish choice of architecture and design from the offset. Charcoal-coloured bricks and huge glass panels merge tradition with modernity in a classic apex roofed, bungalow shape. We love the vast wooden decking out front, where a lush green garden extends way beyond – perfect for barbecues or smørrebrød picnics on balmy afternoons. But there are also some excellent spots for chilly evenings. The outdoor hot tub will be your first port of call, followed by the lofty dining and living space where a wood-burning stove stands proudly in the centre. These interiors are distinctly Scandinavian (think minimalist furniture, glossy white cabinets, and plenty of wood), with eco-friendly features paying respect to nature. Solar panels and geothermal heating should keep everything ticking along nicely.
