The wild environment of northern Jutland is truly spectacular. While there are of course awe-inspiring cliffs and fjords, the more gentle side of the island features salt marshes and vast, breezy bays. This wooden home sits on the western Jammer Bay, where you can drive four minutes to Saltum Beach, or fifteen to the fishing pier of Løkken Mole. Ready to make the most of the great outdoors? Set within a rustling woodland and a vast lawn, this house has nearly half an acre of private grounds for you to explore. We love the quintessentially Danish look, with its wooden exterior and white window frames and doors. Built in the 80s and renovated in 2022, the traditional appearance is a guise for new-age amenities like solar panels, geothermal heating, a gas barbecue, and a very modern wood-burning stove. Leave the kids outside in the playground while you head indoors to prepare smørrebrød for lunch in this bright and airy retreat. Wood makes further appearances throughout, with white painted planks lining the apex ceiling to open up the space. Faux fur throw and a cushy sofa create the hygge vibe, and there’s even a cute alcove bed – the definition of cosy.
