Smack-dab in Paris' bohemian Latin Quarter, this flat could not be in a better spot for exploring. This is one of our favourite neighbourhoods, where you'll find Sorbonne students studying in the cafes, antique bookshops and independent shops lining the cobbled streets and a bevvy of delicious restaurants and lively bars to while away the evenings in. You've got Notre Dame a sixteen-minute stroll away, the Panthéon is walkable in ten and the blooming Jardin des Plantes is just around the corner, perfect for morning strolls and afternoon picnics. This cosy flat is the ideal place to kick off your shoes and catch your breath when you're not venturing around the City of Lights. While the style is definitely contemporary, there's still plenty of Parisian charm to be found, particularly the exposed stone walls, dark-washed timber beams and generously-sized French windows that flood the living space with sunlight. The blush-coloured sofa is as comfortable as it looks, so plop down and rest weary feet following your city-wide adventures, a glass of wine in hand. The kitchen is quite compact, but there's just enough equipment to rustle up lighter bites – we'd suggest grabbing dinner at one of the eateries on your doorstep.

Home truths
At full occupancy, two guests will sleep on the sofa bed in the living room – space will be tight, so we'd recommend a maximum guest count of four
This home is on the ground floor and the windows look out onto the street
The kitchen doesn't have an oven – we think it's better suited to lighter bites than large meals
This home is in a central spot, so noise is to be expected
The bedrooms don't have proper windows – one has a small skylight, while the other has windows that overlook the living space
Parking in Paris can be tricky, so we recommend sticking to the easily accessible public transport where possible – though we think the best way to see the city is on foot
