Sitting against the verdant Austrian mountainscape, this typical chalet-style home is the ideal spot for a hiking or skiing holiday. A ski trail runs 200 metres from the front door, and the Kreischberg Ski Area is 3km away. Follow the hiking trails into the mountains for beautiful views of the valley before returning to your cosy abode. Pine-clad and with an A-frame roof, there’s no denying you’re in the mountains here. A sprawling back garden provides plenty of space to run around and a babbling stream runs along the back of the garden. This is the perfect soundtrack to lunches on the terrace, courtesy of the barbecue. Inside, it’s all pinewood and glass, letting the view of the mountains in the distance dominate the living room. A gas stove provides a little heat in the chilly months and the kitchen is well-equipped and modern. The icing on the cake is the private sauna – perfect for a post-slope relaxation session.
