You might spend your days dozing by the pool, occasionally slipping into the inviting water to cool down. Any children in your party will fall in love with the play area – and parents will enjoy keeping an eye on them while sipping chilled drinks on the terrace. The villa stays cool even when it’s scorching, and outside there are shaded areas for you to relax in. The open-plan kitchen and dining space opens nicely onto the terrace, creating a great indoor-outdoor feel. It takes eleven minutes to walk to Tratice Beach, where you can swim in the clear sea. You might also like to drive twenty-three minutes to Zadar. Wander through the pretty, narrow streets and stop off at seafood restaurants and cafes. In the evening, get the barbecue going – dining alfresco means you get to spend every possible moment outside. When the kids have gone to bed, pop open a bottle of Champagne and slip into the hot tub. Absolute bliss.
