Nestled in the heart of the Dordogne – within striking distance of the picture-perfect village of Sourzac – this stunning holiday home is the perfect setting for your next family holiday or group getaway to the verdant French countryside. To say that this place is something to write home about would be an understatement. Built in the 17th century, this gorgeous country house boasts plenty of traditional design features that are sure to delight even the most discerning guest. From the living room’s gargantuan fireplace to the exposed timber in the upstairs bedrooms, there’s nothing not to love about the interior here, which comes complete with a whole host of amenities to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Throw an impromptu movie night in the cosy sitting room, gather everyone around the dining table for a hearty meal prepared by your own private chef, or head downstairs for a friendly game of table tennis in the well-equipped recreation room. As much as we love the inside space, it’s the property’s exterior that really captured our imagination. Boasting a sun-drenched patio, outdoor swimming pool, and private tennis court, this is the perfect place to while away summer afternoons in the French countryside. Beat the heat with a dip in the pool or settle in for a day of relaxation on one of the perfectly placed sun loungers. And when it’s time to eat, what could be better than firing up the barbecue and dining al fresco on a delicious home-cooked feast? Answers on a postcard, please.
