Nestled in the peaceful village of Peyzac-le-Moustier, this holiday home is a gorgeous place to spend your trip to the Dordogne. With plenty of charm and easy access to the region's ancient towns and caves, it's a wonderful gateway to one of France's best-loved regions. The cottage retains much of its original charm – you'll love the stone exterior and the wooden ceiling beams inside. The host has carefully selected a gorgeous collection of furniture that adds to the rustic ambiance, and there's even a desk where you can catch up on work if needed. The open-plan set-up makes it easy to chat with your guests while you're cooking up some French favourites in the kitchen. And, you even have a barbeque and dining area out on the patio, for feasts in fresh air. The River Vézère is right outside the house, and you can wander through the beautiful countryside right on your doorstep. Roque Saint-Christophe, one of the region's natural wonders, is just a fifteen-minute stroll away, and there are a few nearby restaurants where you can refuel with some local cuisine. And, with Grotte des Combarelles and Grotte de Font-de-Gaume both within a fifteen-minute drive, it's easy to immerse yourself in the area's rich history.
