Set on the edge of pretty La Chapelle d'Abondance, it's perfect whether you're here in summer or winter – with just a short drive to the nearest ski lift. Inside, it's a spacious and smart home with modern furnishings and clean lines. Built from natural materials, it's perfectly in keeping with its stunning surroundings, and the living room's floor-to-ceiling windows offer mountain views to die for. In summer, simply slide them open and eat outside on the covered patio. Bedrooms and bathrooms are luxurious and comfortable, with a semi-open en-suite to the master bedroom and a fabulous family bathroom featuring your own private sauna. And elsewhere there's an indoor pool, fitness room and whirlpool spa to take advantage of, along with a handy ski storage room with boot warmers. With numerous ski resorts on hand and a lively après-ski scene at nearby Châtel, it's the perfect spot for a winter trip, but there's plenty of mountain biking and hiking to be done in summer – plus it's an easy drive to Lake Geneva.
