Do you have a question about this home or the local area?

Only a forty-eight-minute drive from the Dutch capital, this holiday home is a far cry from the bustling, cobbled streets and bright lights of the city. In fact, it’s an altogether different way of life in the Harderwijk region. While a town of the same name sits just across the Wolderwijd, this villa allows you to bask in nature on the quiet side of the lake – but not without some additional luxuries. After a long day of walking, golf, or activities on the water, coming back to this modern home is a real treat. Its white slatted walls and angular structure wouldn’t feel out of place for a Floridian beach house, especially when you’ve got sun loungers and a large patio out front. But as you nibble Dutch delicacies and sip chilled wine, the lush lawn and leafy hedges certainly feel more country than coast. From here, you just need to peer around the corner to be pleasantly surprised by an outdoor hot tub and outdoor shower. And the spa-like surprises continue inside. Once you’ve admired the sophisticated living space, with its sleek tiled floor and mid-century-style furnishings, head upstairs. Subtly hidden in one of the ensuites of the cosy, minimalist bedrooms, your state-of-the-art infrared sauna awaits.

About Amsterdam

Having started life as a fishing village over 800 years ago, the Netherlands’ coolest city isn’t just for those seeking casual nightlife. Culturally dense and incredibly picturesque, there is plenty to discover in Amsterdam once you venture off the beaten path. Home to the world’s largest collection of Van Gogh paintings, as well as Reformation-era watering holes and dozens of cheese shops, its eclectic spirit both entertains and enthrals. Served...
