Village life is on your doorstep at this quintessentially English cottage nestled away in the picture-perfect Cotswold village of Swerford. With the honey-stone centre of Chipping Norton an eight-minute drive away, and Banbury, Soho Farmhouse, and Blenheim Palace just a smidge further (all under twenty-five-minutes), you’re perfectly placed to seek out the best of Cotswold’s life here. Though you may find all the Cotswold’s charms you’re chasing right here at home. Inside, this lovingly restored detached cottage oozes period character with carefully curated antiques and vibrant textiles adding layers of interest. We like to think that home is where the hearth is, and there are two firesides to choose from here. The elegant sitting room with a warming stove is the spot for quiet reading time – the bookcases stuffed with classics can help with that. And next door, a cosy snug with a wood-burner is the perfect nook for morning coffees and the papers. When the sun shines, head outdoors to the picturesque front garden with a seating area to soak up the views of the village and church. Or mosey onto the secluded rear lawns - it’s your very own secret garden retreat.
