Tucked away down a quiet cul-de-sac with a church at the end, this period home is simply charming. Just a couple of minutes' walk from the centre of town, with all its eateries and shops, and ten minutes from the beach, it's an enviable spot in this beautiful seaside town. Inside, ornamental fireplaces, high ceilings and bay windows create a traditional feel, with a comfy living room to relax in, a separate dining room with a country-style table and a big kitchen with a breakfast table. Simple styling, with shades of white and blue throughout, gives a nod to its coastal setting, with three comfy bedrooms upstairs and a dressing room with the bathroom off it – which could double as an office if you need to work during your stay. And a bonus room comes at the top of the house in the form of a family room with a TV and board games – perhaps the perfect hangout for younger members of the group. And while the courtyard garden isn't huge, there's seating space and a barbecue – with a small park just opposite the house if the kids need to let off some steam. After a day on...
