Good things come in small packages and this charming home for two is packed with character. Once the local cobbler's workshop, it's a modernised historic cottage with everything from exposed stone walls and vaulted ceilings to original floorboards and an arched door. Cute and cosy, it comes with everything you'll need for a comfortable stay, as well as a pebble courtyard garden which is a real suntrap in summer. Country styling is the order of the day here, with a comfy sofa, dining table and smart kitchen area occupying the open living space, along with a log burner for that all-important toasty feeling after a winter walk. A bedroom and modern shower room top it all off. Set in a friendly, pretty village, here you'll be just a few minutes away from the local beach on foot, and it's around a twenty-minute walk to Llansteffan Castle. You can drive to the main town of Carmarthen in eighteen minutes and head to Dylan Thomas's hometown of Laugharne in less than half an hour. With walking and cycling routes, numerous beaches and castles to explore, you won't be short of things to do.

About Carmarthenshire
With craggy old castles on hilltops and a stretch of coastline abundant with flora and fauna, Carmarthenshire is ideal for history buffs, wildlife enthusiasts, hikers and foodies. Host
This home is managed by David
This home is managed directly by its owner who will be your point of contact before and during your stay. Perhaps the most impressive thing about Ty-Log is that David built it himself. He loves the local area so much that he moved here in 2018 to start letting holiday rentals and he currently lives two hundred metres away from the cabin, just in case you ever want any local recommendations or to say hello.
