Located in the beautiful Vale of Evesham, on one of the only remaining original asparagus – or ‘gras’ – farms, this former farm shop has been cleverly repurposed – maintaining the original wooden ceiling beams – to provide a great rural escape. We would love to start our mornings here with a lazy breakfast and cup of tea, overlooking the surrounding fields of asparagus, stretching to the hills of the Cotswolds on the horizon. On sunny days, the parasol will provide some much-needed shade. Don’t forget to keep an eye out in the surrounding trees too, as you might just spot Muntjac deer, foxes, or woodpeckers. Providing a base to explore the area, this home is close to many Cotswold hotspots such as the Broadway Tower – which can be reached in just eighteen minutes by car. Or, why not stay closer to home and wander the asparagus fields? After a busy day of sightseeing and walking in nature, treat yourself to an indulgent massage or a cider tasting. Then, for dinner, cook in the kitchen that overlooks the asparagus fields and glass houses to the rear, fire up the barbecue for alfresco feasts, or even sit back while a private... chef takes care of everything. The only question will be what is on the menu to accompany the asparagus?
