Nestled in the Santa Monica mountains, this Malibu getaway is perched high above the beaches, providing truly incredible views of the ocean from the open living space and each of the bedrooms. We would love to start every morning with a coffee on the terrace overlooking the sea as the sun shines down upon it before heading to the beach for the day – reachable in just eleven minutes by car. As well as stunning views and great proximity to some of Southern California’s most famous beaches, this area also offers great hiking trails, fantastic restaurants, and even shopping, so there’s plenty on offer for every kind of traveller. Or, if you would rather have a more relaxing break, then lounge in the Californian sunshine, breath in the fresh air and admire the nature and views all around you. After a busy day, why not dine together with the bi-fold doors of the living room wide open so you can truly appreciate the panoramic views on offer as the sun sets over the sea. Then, on chilly evenings, snuggle up in front of the fire or indulge in a relaxing bath in the main bedroom’s en-suite, which also showcases ocean vistas to enjoy while you soak.

    This home is spread over three floors, with no internal lift

    Guests have access to the main home, and studio above the garage which has its own kitchenette

    Due to the steep incline, walking to the beach is not advisable

    There is parking for up to four cars on the driveway

    Due to the mountain location, phone signal can be patchy

    A gate clicker will gain you access to the private road, however, larger vehicles will need to access the home via a longer back route as this road is not suitable
