Located in Rome’s eclectic Monti neighbourhood – known for its family-run trattorias, hip wine bars and funky vintage boutiques – this comfortable apartment puts you in an ideal spot to experience them all, as well as the city’s most iconic historic sights. Sporting a pared-back decor, the open-plan living area has been given characterful touches with its pops of red in the furnishings and the decorative art on the walls. Make yourself at home on the scarlet sofa with a glass of Italian wine or gather around the dining table for a celebratory soirée when you’re not out sampling the local food scene. At the end of the night, descend the winding staircase to find the black and white bedroom whose comfy bed beckons a restful night’s sleep, and whose en-suite invites relaxing wake-ups with its rainfall shower. Outside of your home, you’ve got ample opportunities to soak up the Eternal City’s rich history – the Palazzo delle Esposizioni is a two-minute walk, the Colosseum and the Roman Forum are a thirteen-minute stroll, while the Pantheon is a twenty minutes away on foot. The Basilica Papale di Santa Maria Maggiore is also just a ten-minute walk away and the famous Spanish Steps are fifteen minutes on foot from your door.

About Monti
It's a truth universally acknowledged that in every city, there is a district just waiting to be described as expressing the spirit of the old Soho. In Rome, Monti is that place, and the connection is a fair one - although what Monti lacks in advertising agencies and mustachioed tech bros, it makes up for in creative enclaves, smoky bars and delicious places to eat. Nestled right in the heart...

Host
This home is managed by Martina
This home is managed directly by a business. A member of their staff will be your point of contact before and during your stay. Martina and her team take care of a whole host of flats around the place, so they’ve got the nuts and bolts of the operation perfected. They’re all pretty knowledgeable as well, so don’t be afraid to ask for tips on local restaurants and bars.
