Seaside escapes don’t get much cosier than this. This lovely apartment is bright and cheerful, with a sunny balcony that brings in heaps of light. The decor is soft and neutral, with blue tones added in to remind guests how close they are to the sea. If you’re anything like us, you’ll start and end your day on the balcony. In the morning, you can roll out of bed and straight outside to watch the town wake up below. Maybe you’ll enjoy your breakfast outside too, to soak up every second of sunshine. In the evenings, it’s a lovely place to sit and sip wine as you watch the stars emerge, listening out for the faint sound of the waves on the beach. The apartment is adjacent to Lido di Camaiore’s promenade along the beach, with the soft sand a seven-minute stroll away. Pack up your bucket and spade and set up camp on the shore, where you can swim in the clear sea or sunbathe to your heart’s content. You have your pick of bars and restaurants nearby for lunch, but you could also cycle along the promenade to Viareggio for a change of scenery – the pretty old port is only sixteen minutes away.
