Architecturally striking and just set steps away from the beach, this home is one of two built by the owners of the upscale restaurant next-door. An oasis of calm, with sea views and a private terrace with your own pool, it's an elegant and stylish coastal retreat for up to four guests. Less than a five-minute drive from the village of Lachania, at the foot of the mountains, there's a choice of eateries and a supermarket within reach, and it's an excellent base from which to explore the south of the island. But with a long, sandy beach and clean swimming water on your doorstep, you may find you have all you need right here. Inside, a mix of contemporary styling and traditional elements gives this place a timeless feel, with all-white walls and cool, tiled floors. There's an open-plan living area with a well-kitted-out kitchenette and sliding doors opening to the terrace, while the bedrooms are calm and spacious – one leading out to a tiny courtyard. And in the evenings, choose between watching the sunset from the beach, the restaurant or from the comfort of your own terrace.
