The living and dining space is open-plan, leading straight outside so as you lounge on the sofa or cook breakfast you can admire the leafy garden through the floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors. Outside, a swimming pool sits in the middle of a lush garden lined with trees. It’s quiet and sunny, a little oasis. In the evenings you might make use of the barbecue for alfresco feasts under the stars – you can drive into Žminj for supplies in six minutes. If you need to paddle in the sea for it to really feel like a holiday, you needn’t travel too far. Beautiful Rovinj is a thirty-minute drive and is surrounded by attractive pebble beaches – we like Bale beach, which is thirty-two minutes away.
