Set inside a newly converted warehouse, it's a fresh and modern home with a touch of character – not least because it's accessed via an external spiral staircase. With two bedrooms and bathrooms, it's perfect for friends sharing, or for a family with older children. Inside, there's an open layout to the living space, with herringbone floors and neutral tones. Adjustable window shutters let in just the right amount of natural light and the furnishings are contemporary and comfortable, with a well-kitted-out kitchen and all the mod-cons. With pubs, shops and eateries on its doorstep, and just a short stroll to the old heart of the city, it's a great, central location, perfect if you're arriving by train.
