This apartment may be modern and newly renovated, but its location is all about the ancient world. You’re meer footsteps from the base of the Acropolis, looking out over Athens from atop a rugged hill. The ruins of the Temple of Olympian Zeus are just behind you and a ten-minute walk has you in the narrow, winding streets of the Plaka neighbourhood for late-night taverna-style food and romantic walks. After a day discovering dusty ruins, retreat to your modern haven in the city centre. The rust-red sofa is plush velvet and the surprisingly spacious sleek white kitchen has everything you need for self-catering.
