This cosy apartment is wonderfully located in the historic centre of Florence. Despite being so close to all of the city sights, it’s a peaceful place to call home, tucked away in a pretty, quiet courtyard that dates back to the 15th century. The home is crisp and bright, with everything you might need for a city break. It’s still an authentic Florentine home, though, with vaulted ceilings and plaster details dating to the 19th century. Whether you’re dozing in the four-poster bed or are whipping up a bite to eat in the kitchen, it’s clear you’re at the heart of Florence. You might enjoy your breakfast in the courtyard, which boasts a remarkable view of the Duomo. Later, stroll five minutes to the Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore to see it closer, and perhaps walk up the Campanile to take in the view. The Uffizi Gallery is a ten-minute walk, so you can soak up the culture and admire some of the world’s best-known art whenever you fancy.
