Enjoy the silence apart from the bird song when you stay at this private and tranquil retreat in the gorgeous Kent countryside. It's the perfect romantic getaway. Relax on a deckchair or hammock in the lovely garden with its sylvan setting, or spot the wildlife around the pond. The open plan living space is beautifully restored with characterful beams and pale oak floors throughout. Take a seat on the leather sofa, or comfy armchair in front of the cosy wood burner or watch the birds darting in and out of the woodland from the huge picture windows. We love the paintings adorning the wall – they are all by a local artist. There's plenty to explore out and about. Have a stroll around the pretty village of Worth, 1 kilometre away. Here, you'll find fine period houses, two charming pubs and a cute duck pond. Or visit historical Sandwich, just under 3 kilometres from this lovely home.
