Many visitors to Paris have an idealistic vision of staying in a 19th-century Haussmann blocks, with corniced ceilings and parquet flooring. But this city also has plenty to offer a more modern type of traveller. This apartment is just a ten-minute walk to old-world elegance such as the Jardin du Luxembourg, or nine to the 21st-century Montparnasse Tower skyscraper. However, its decor certainly chimes more with the latter. Up on the four floor in the chic sixth arrondissement, your home is set in a building that’s traditional enough – there are of course French windows, a balconette, and views of classic Parisian architecture. But the interiors tell another story of the city. White, sharp, and shiny are just three adjectives that spring to mind. We love the egg-style dining chairs alongside an incredibly unique floor cabinet. Silver waves undulate along the front panel, and on top sits a sound system that looks like something you'd find in a spaceship’s control room. Mix some interesting cocktails in the chrome kitchen and pull the sliding panels over the living space for an evening out of this world.
