You barely need to take a city tour when you stay in this wonderful 26th-floor apartment. Simply step out onto the home's balcony and you can see many of Dubai's landmarks, from the glistening waters of the Gulf and golden sands of Marina Beach to Ain Dubai and The Palm Jumeirah. Although this is an address that very much encourages you to look outwards — especially with the floor-to-ceiling windows in the bedroom — you won't be disappointed when you get around to turning your attention to the interior. As well as being blessed with ample amounts of natural light, the monochrome finishes and furnishings feel particularly chic, as does the minimalist kitchen. Elsewhere in the building, guests get access to a gym, as well as a swimming pool. JBR Beach is all of two minutes' walk around the corner when you fancy an afternoon at the seaside, while the Marina Promenade lies eight minutes' walk away and is a lovely route to wander with cafe-stops along the way.
