Right in the heart of Porto, this chic studio apartment is perfect for a couple looking to explore Portugal's second-largest city. It's bang in the middle of two gardens – Jardim da Cordoaria and Jardim das Virtudes, both less than five minutes on foot. If you want to get a bird's eye view, we suggest climbing to the top of Torre dos Clérigos, just a five-minute stroll away. You'll also find some of the trendiest bars and restaurants in the city nearby, or take a ten-minute walk down to the River Douro and enjoy a drink right on the waterfront. After a busy day discovering all Porto has to offer, this cleverly-designed flat calls for some much-needed rest and relaxation. Filled with light nearly all day long, the wooden panelling, clean-lined furniture and calm colours offer a sanctuary from the hustle and bustle outside. It's also packed with products made by young Portuguese designers, artists and producers, so you'll be supporting local creators. And, of course, we can't forget about the balcony.
