On a street fittingly called Paradise Road, this apartment is part of a grand, period home that's been recently restored. A secret retreat just a short walk from the city centre, it boasts a real luxury – a beautifully landscaped communal garden. With a pond, tropical planting, romantic paths and fountains, it's a delightful space where you're welcome to picnic. Inside, a great deal of thought has gone into styling this home, with comfy furnishings, statement lighting and plenty of house plants. Period features like tall ceilings and archways add character and there's a good flow to the space. With the stunning Lapa Church just outside, this neighbourhood has great amenities itself but you can walk into the centre of the Porto in around ten minutes, or catch the nearby Metro to explore further afield.
