If you're looking for an apartment with incredible views of Lisbon, you've hit the jackpot here. Located in the historical neighbourhood of Mouraria, this beautiful home has three balconies to gaze at the view of the city's hills, carpeted in red-tiled roofs. We love the grand touches to this home. The high ceilings, gallery white walls, ornate decor, and especially the patio doors and large windows. The natural light pours into the home, while the window on either side of the living room offers a sneak peek of what's to come when you venture out into the city. If you like to experience a city like a local, you'll love it in Mouraria. It's very close to Baixa, which is the beating heart of Lisbon, yet it's tucked away on a quiet hill of narrow streets and small squares. You can't visit Lisbon without going to a traditional Fado house and swaying to the uniquely Portuguese soulful tunes. Mouraria is actually the birthplace of Fado music and teeming with little local spots. Be sure to make it home for sunset. Nothing beats sipping a glass of wine on your balcony, watching as the city line begins to sparkle in the darkness.

About Mouraria
With street performers, Fado shows and lots of unmissable sights, Mouraria should be at the top of your list. A trip through its narrow streets is like stepping back in time, revisiting the rich cultural background even before the great earthquake of 1755. In fact, the story goes that Fado was born in Mouraria, and it’s since made its way to the UNESCO World Heritage list. Although it’s quite central, this neighbourhood has a strong local community and an independent art scene that will show you a side of old, nostalgic Lisbon that you won’t find anywhere else.
