Victorian architecture meets modern design at this bucolic estate in the heart of Suffolk, one of the most idyllic regions of the UK. Once a 19th-century schoolhouse, this gorgeous home is the perfect setting for your next family staycation, boasting large, open-plan living areas and a whole host of luxury amenities that’ll make your stay one to remember. With so much to do here, we wouldn’t blame you if you weren’t sure where to start. Dump your bags and sink straight into the plush velvet sofa in the sitting room or head outside and unwind with a cold glass of English fizz on the impressive patio. When it’s time to eat, fire up the gas barbecue for an al fresco feast or drive into Sidbury, where you’ll find a plethora of local pubs and restaurants to satisfy your cravings. There’s plenty to explore here but, if you’ve had your fill of being out and about, why not head home and while away the rest of the day with a couple of board games by the log fire? And when it’s time to turn in for the night, wander up to your snug bedroom where your heated blanket will be waiting to send you to sleep.

About Hadleigh

This ancient market town is nestled in Constable Country – a beautiful area of Suffolk that inspired the 18th-century artist’s most famous works. Hadleigh itself is packed full of character, with historic buildings and independent shops aplenty. Sandwiched between Sudbury and Ipswich, it may not be as well-known as its more prominent neighbours, but with its mixed architecture and picturesque valley setting, this quieter area still has lots to offer....
