One glance at those enchanting coastal views and we bet it's love at first sight. Perched above the rolling Mediterranean Sea just 10km from Chania, you couldn't ask for a more Cretan spot to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life. Days here start with a cup of coffee on the terrace, basking in the fresh air and watching the sun come up. Afternoons are best spent splashing in the private pool (which also boasts some incredible panoramas) or practising your serve on the communal tennis court. Evenings call for sundowners on the large water-facing balcony, followed by a barbecue feast as the stars slowly reveal themselves in the inky black sky. Inside, the interior merges classic Greek style – think light-filled living spaces and typical blue windows – with contemporary comforts like a wood-burning fireplace, sleek en-suite showers and a fully-equipped kitchen for nights when you need a break from the grill. It's the perfect pad, whether you're here with friends or family, and the location is spot-on, too. For a change of scenery, take a day trip to Chania and wander along the Venetian harbour and picturesque cobbled lanes. Or swap laps in the swimming pool for a dip in the ocean waves – Kalathas Beach is just over 2km away.
