Legend has it that if couples kiss underneath the Bridge of Sighs at sunset as the bells of St Mark's Church ring out, they'll be blessed with eternal love and happiness. While we can't promise you lasting love, we bet you'll fall head over heels for this apartment regardless – that unbeatable view of Venice's most famous bridge is enough to make anyone weak in the knees. We could easily spend all day in this chic flat, watching the gondolas float by on the canal, feeling the breeze on our skin and listening to the lap of the water. The natural colour scheme and pared-back style are only enhanced by the postcard-worthy scenery – just fling open the enormous dining room windows to make the most of the panoramas. Even when you're gathered around the dining table, digging into paparele e bisi and sipping an Aperol Spritz, you'll be able to relish in the view. And, thanks to folding doors, the small kitchen (and all those dirty dishes) can be hidden away – utterly distraction-free. Location-wise, you couldn't find a better spot. It's a mere one-minute walk to Piazza San Marco – the epicentre of Venice. Here, tourists and locals alike gather for an espresso at the cafes and marvel at the ornate domes of Basilica di San Marco. Other less-frequented areas are also within easy reach – the city is your oyster, and trust us, you'll have plenty to discover.
