Do you have a question about this home or the local area?
A typical chocolate-box terrace on the outside and a modernist’s paradise on the inside, this stylish home is the perfect place for a family to unwind away from the hustle and bustle of central London. Your hosts have stuck to a calm, cool palette with Scandi influences and plenty of plush furnishings. A cosy living space unfolds into a bright kitchen where we guarantee you’ll spend most of your time, whether that’s rustling up your favourite suppers or swapping anecdotes around the dining table. On warm afternoons, throw open the glass doors and spill out into the garden. Fire up the barbecue as the little ones let off some steam in the play area. Moving upstairs, the sleeping quarters are pared back and serene – we particularly loved the main bedroom with its well-placed skylights revealing leafy treetops. If you can resist a quick cat nap in the comfy beds, head out and explore your neighbourhood. A twenty-minute walk places you at Finsbury Park, a wonderful green space perfect for picnics in the sunshine. Or why not sample the bars and restaurants that flank Stroud Green Road, just a ten-minute stroll from your doorstep. And if the city calls, it’s less... than a thirty-minute bus ride to King’s Cross.

About Stroud Green
Stroud Green is a bit of a local secret. It's a foodie haven in an unpretentious part of North London, just next to Finsbury Park tube station and not far from Islington. There's a very friendly community feel to the area and it still has a real (dare we say authentic) neighbourhood feel. Off the main road with all its many restaurants, you'll find attractive leafy terraces of Victorian houses. Oh and be sure to track down The Faltering Fullback, a charming Irish pub packed with character and an excellent secret garden out the back.
