Do you have a question about this home or the local area?
Whether you’re whisking the family away on a fabulous UK staycation or you’re in charge of your annual getaway with friends, this luxurious Devonshire villa has everything you could ever wish for and more. We're talking sensational sea views, plush, en–suite bedrooms, a magnificent piano lounge and an aqua–blue, heated outdoor pool. You name it, this place has got it. Recently renovated and set right in the heart of beautiful Torquay, this Victorian villa is a showstopper to say the very least. From the outside, it’s a vision of Victorian grandeur. Large bay windows welcome the Devonshire sunlight to stream through the home, meanwhile the pristine private pool adds a paradisal touch to the luscious green gardenscape. To top it off, there’s also an open–air dining setup, wooden pergola and a hot tub, presenting the ideal spot to retreat to with a flute of fizz as night falls – bliss! We can’t deny that the garden space is a real jewel in the crown, but as we make our way into the home, the stunning interior truly does steal the show. Enlivened by a nautical–inspired colour scheme of soft creams, taupes and blues, it effortlessly pays homage to the home’s coastal location.... Lightly–toned wooden floors and carpets keep everything super bright and breezy, meanwhile the opulent chandeliers and ornate golden mirrors sprinkle an extra touch of splendour. We love the addition of the classic piano in the piano lounge, but it’s the home’s very own private bar that’s really got us talking. Stocked with local produce and lovingly furnished to fashion an authentic British pub look and feel, The Percy Fawcett welcomes you to sample some of Devon’s best–loved brews in the comfort of your glorious new home from home. We know what you’re thinking – there’s hardly any need to venture beyond the garden gates whatsoever, but if you do feel like heading out, Torquay’s coastal charm is sure to steal your heart. The villa is nestled just a five–minute amble from the sandy shores of Meadfoot Beach, meanwhile just a ten–minute stroll away, you’ve got the bustling town centre and beautiful harbour.
