Do you have a question about this home or the local area?
When you want to escape the city or the hectic pace of your day-to-day life, you often have to choose between a countryside break or time at the seaside. Not here. This charm-filled home sits in the countryside of South Devon, within easy striking distance of the coast. It takes just sixteen minutes to drive to Torquay Beach, and there’s a wealth of beautiful countryside walks to choose from. We’re particularly fond of the South West Coast Path for its splendid views. The house itself is cosy and welcoming, a real home from home. You might spend your days in the garden, watching the children play from your deck chair in the summerhouse. Evenings can be merrily whiled away in front of the wood-burning stove, playing board games. You can cook in the well-appointed kitchen, or fire up the charcoal barbecue on the patio when the weather is fine. Perhaps you’ll shop for freshly-caught seafood, or will you be too full from your Devonshire cream tea?
