Set into the side of the harbour bowl, this charming loft apartment enjoys fabulous views of Brixham’s fishing boats in the water. The building is grade II listed and sits on one of the oldest streets in this coastal village. A three-minute stroll into town sees you at the harbour front where cosy pubs, seafood restaurants and the odd swanky cocktail bar await. The South-west Coastal Path runs along the harbour front, and you can follow this out to clifftop walks and stunning sea views. Our favourite thing about this loft apartment has to be the private terrace, overlooking the harbour fringed by colourful fishing houses. Out here, you’ve got comfy rattan sofas and chairs for an evening tipple and a gas grill for barbecue lunches. The view continues inside where a big bay window floods the living room with sunlight. If you’re not barbecuing, the full kitchen has everything you need to cook up the catch of the day and there’s more than enough room for the group to dine together inside.

About Brixham
If you’re looking for a friendly, traditional town from which to enjoy the English Riviera, consider booking a place to stay along the cobbled streets of Brixham. Clustered along the water’s edge and rising with the hills, the homes of Brixham are a particularly pretty sight at night, when the light from their interiors reflects off the sea below. But that’s not to say they’re not delightful in the day,...
